EclektiFest Submission Form

Submissions for the EclektiFest exhibition are now open! This call is open to artists over the age of 18 that reside in North Texas. Artists are welcome to submit up to 5 works in any visual medium for consideration. A submission fee of $10 applies. The deadline to submit is Friday, August 7 by midnight.

This event will be hosted at a non-traditional exhibition space that does not have standard gallery walls. Due to this, all wall hanging works must be light weight (under 30 lbs), be wired, be under 48 inches on all sides, and able to be hung securely with removable wall hooks. Works that require pedestal display will be considered, but must be noted as requiring one so a pedestal can be reserved.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
‘EclektiFest’ is The Eclectika's first large-scale collaborative arts event hosted at an off-site location in Fort Worth. This event will feature two art exhibitions, vendors, local orgs, food, zines, and more! The two coinciding exhibitions for this event will feature select works from North Texas artists as well as an exhibition featuring work by incoming Eclektive members and the Eclectika team. Further details on participating organizations and vendors to be announced over the coming weeks.
EVENT TIMELINE:
Open Call Begins: Wednesday, July 8
Open Call Ends: Friday, August 7
Artists Notified: by Friday, August 14
Drop-off: Sep 5 from 10am to noon
EclektiFest: Sep, 5 3pm to 6pm
Pickup: Sep 5, 6pm to 8pm
SUBMISSION CONTENT REQUIREMENTS:
The following materials are needed:
A doc file/PDF with a submission inventory list
An artist bio/cv
Up to (5) file submissions
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR IMAGES ARE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY. THESE IMAGES MAY BE USED FOR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL IF SELECTED. NO BLURY IMAGES, NO PHOTOS OF WORK TAKEN AT AN ANGLE, NO FLASH, ETC. PRESENT YOUR WORK WITH AS MUCH EFFORT AS YOU PUT INTO CREATING IT.
Image format requirements:
Name each file in the format as follows: FirstName_LastName_Workstitle
Example: John_Smith_BeautifulTrees.jpg
JPG/JPEG/PNG files only
Maximum file size of 5MB
300 dpi resolution is recommended as, if selected, these images may used for promotional material.
If submitting a video, please provide a YouTube link in the designated section.
Inventory list format requirements:
